We are looking for an iOS Developer to join our established and growing squad in our Blackfriars office. We create substantial new features every week alongside dealing with significant scaling challenges as CrowdScores continues to grow.

At CrowdScores you will be:

  • Working in our small but growing mobile development team
  • Building a mobile app with a rapidly growing user base that expects our app to work
  • Writing Swift/Objective-C – whilst some parts of the app are in Objective-C, our codebase is now Swift
  • Using automated testing and Continuous Integration as we grow our team
  • Working together with our strong backend python development team to deliver new functionality
  • Interacting with our in-house designer to achieve a polished UX
  • Influencing architectural and workflow decisions
  • Taking part in code reviews
  • Regularly assessing and improving anything that affects you, your team or the company through retrospectives
  • Working with Objective-C, Swift,  AFNetworking, Fabric (Answers, Crashlytics, Twitter),  Google Analytics, Firebase, Facebook SDK, Google SDK, Github, Fastlane, Localisations and Push Notifications

The person we would like is:

  • Experienced in building and iterating apps
  • Skilled in object-oriented software development
  • Understanding of iOS Human Interface Guidelines
  • Versed in software architecture and design patterns
  • Fluent in Objective-C, Swift and the iOS SDKs
  • Experienced in automated testing and continuous integration
  • Able to contribute to the design of APIs
  • Prepared to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in
  • Interested in app trends and keeping up to date with Apple technologies

Working with us, you will:

  • Face challenging, interesting and varied problems
  • Attend training and conferences to increase your skills and keep up to date
  • Be given your choice of a top of the range MacBook
  • Work in the centre of London in our offices just off Fleet Street
  • Wear whatever you like to work
  • Join an enthusiastic, collaborative team that cares deeply about the platform they create
  • Work in a relaxed, flexible tech-startup atmosphere, where the outcome matters more than anything else
  • Share in the success of the company through share options
  • Take part in quarterly company hack days
  • Have unlimited holidays
  • Play far too much FIFA 18 (we have heard that the PS4 plays other games, but we haven’t tried yet)
  • Be invited to monthly social events
