“I support Liverpool because I was brought up in a family of Liverpool fans and I have followed them ever since.

My favourite player is Luis Suarez, as he scored over 90 goals for the club in only a few years, and also massively helped our impressive charge for the title in 2014. He is one of the most all rounded forwards I’ve seen, plus he’s absolutely mental which you have to love.

As for the best game I’ve ever been to, I’d say Roma at home last year. Salah produced one of the best Champions League performances of all time that night, and it was my first European game that I’d been to. The whole run in general was top class and something that I certainly never expected.

The thing I love most about Crowdscores is to interact with fans of all different clubs and nations. However, I mainly use it to check the Premier League scores.”

“My family was probably the biggest influence in me supporting Everton. My dad has been supporting Everton since the 1980s (when we were actually good) and he was the reason that I started to support Everton, and have done for 9 years!

My favourite player currently is Richarlison – although I really like all of our squad as they seem to get on really well together and are settling in nicely. The thing with Richarlison is that he seems to work so well in many positions. He can play either on the wing or up front and I myself as a forward in real life am attempting to emulate his play style in my games.

The best game I’ve watched was probably the 2014-15 FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea. Everton never seemed to have had great luck in cups, especially when I watch the games. We lost that FA Cup semi to Liverpool in 2011-12 – and we’d missed out on the EFL Cup final that year – so I didn’t have much hope. Chelsea were a good team. However Lukaku in the second half ripped Chelsea to shreds – scoring both goals on the night. The memory is made bittersweet however as Lukaku is largely to blame for us missing out on the FA Cup final that year…

My favourite thing about CrowdScores is definitely the friendliness of the community nowadays. When I joined, it was a great app – but, with the introduction of the moderators, it’s even better know, and heated arguments are non-existent!”

“I support West Bromwich Albion because they’re my local team and I feel like I belong at the Albion, it is just one big family at West Bromwich Albion and The Hawthorns does feel like home, not just to myself but to 26,000 other people that feel exactly the same way as me.

My favourite player that we’ve ever had in my lifetime has to be Chris Brunt as he’s been with us since 2007 and scored a lot of important goals, I remember his half volley in 2008 against Southampton to earn us a late point to send us into the Premier League after 3 years away from it. The best game I’ve ever seen live has to be Bristol Rovers Vs West Brom in March 2008 and it was a massive game at the time, a sunday evening kick off on ITV in the FA Cup Quarter Final, we were looking to go to an FA Cup Semi Final for the first time in 29 years and we won 5-1 and it was the best afternoon of my life as we got to the semi final and it looked like we were going to win a major trophy for the first time in 40 years.

My favourite thing about Crowdscores is the community, especially in European and international competitions as we all get to mix with different cultures on the app and when everybody is getting along very well it’s a nice place to be.”

Allu – Bayern München fan.

Allu has been on the app since December 2015 and is currently a moderator for the app! Here’s what the featured user of the week has to say about Football in general & the CrowdScores app:

“I’ve supported Bayern München for about 12 years now. My relatives were the biggest impact on my choice of favorite club. Also Bayern’s history is a big reason why I support the club. From a small Jewish club to one of the biggest club in football’s history.

My favorite player of all time is Bastian Schweinsteiger. When I started supporting Bayern he was playing for Bayern and I instantly started to like him. He was born leader and his ball playing abilities were amazing. Also his personality was fair and caring.

My best game I have ever seen is easily the 2013 UCL final. Watched that from tv but celebrated as much as possible when Robben scored that winner. That team we had was one of the best there has been in football’s history.

My favorite thing about CrowdScores is the community. When I joined CrowdScores I didn’t really talk that much but I still remember many users from 2015. I started to speak more and more users started to join CrowdScores. Users made friends that they are still in contact. Users have created Discord channels and everything to speak more to each other. Users have actually been there for some others when they had rough time and I don’t think there is any football app there that has as close community as CrowdScores has. There is many users that everyone basically knows and they have got a chance to be moderators which was a huge thing for everyone. Also the staff is awesome, they are in contact with the users and they love joking in the chats. Overall CrowdScores is amazing app that keeps getting better and creates community even more tighter. “

Start of The Premier League

Posted by | App News, Features | No Comments

The Premier League Arrives!

It only seems like yesterday since we saw France winning the World Cup! After a small break in the football, The Premier League is back!

The season kicks off with Manchester United hosting Leicester City. United have recently been trying, but failing, to swipe the Foxes’ World Cup hero, Harry Maguire. So this battle will be intriguing as the Red Devils look on to see who they could have had. United did not make much progress in the transfer window, much to Mourinho’s dismay, with his anger directed at the board due to lack of funds.

As we look further into the season, it will be interesting to see how the newly promoted teams do. Wolves already had Premier League calibre within the Championship, winning it comfortably. Now as the Premier League approaches, they have made a huge statement with the signing of players, such as Rui Patricio, João Moutinho and Dendoncker. It could be interesting to see if they can push for a top half finish, or maybe even a Europa League place. Fulham have retained their star players, wonderkid Ryan Sessegnon and captain Tom Cairney. They have also made useful additions to their squad; Andre Schurrle has returned to familiar West London surroundings, but located in Craven Cottage, rather than Stamford Bridge. Cardiff look to upset the odds with their direct style of play, disrupting well-polished, passing units. However, their new signings with a lack of top flight experience could be a downfall. It is no surprise that they are favourites to go straight back down. However, like we saw when Leicester won the Premier League, anything can happen!

The biggest opening game of the season will no doubt be Arsenal v Manchester City. Manchester City look strong favourites to retain the trophy, adding more ammunition to their attack with the acquisition of Riyad Mahrez. Arsenal may look optimistic with their new manager, Unai Emery. The new boss will bring a fresh new approach to the Gunners, which they have needed for a few years. Signings such as Torreira and Papastathopoulos have helped the cause and Arsenal fans will hope that this change will motivate the team to a title push.

As always, CrowdScores will be providing live coverage throughout the season. Why not join our community today? You can contribute goals, line-ups, cards, substitutions and much more.

As well as making your mark on the app through contributions, you can also talk to fellow Premier League enthusiasts on the comments tab. You will get to meet like-minded individuals who are passionate about the game.

  2. You will now use less data. Now we just download the right data at the right time. Only what’s new will be downloaded. This means optimal data usage.
